City Bergamo in Italy

The striking city of Bergamo, located just 50 km from Milan, is one of the most stunning and richest cities of Italy which is structured in two levels, the upper city and the lower city. History of Bergamo
Bergamo became an independent commune in the 11th century but fell under the rule of Venetian Republic in 1428. In 1815, Bergamo was allotted to Austria.
