Friends Hostel Griboedova St Petersburg.
For an affordable place to stay in St Petersburg right in the City centre Friends Hostel Griboedova is located just perfectly! In the heart of the city, peaceful courtyard on the embankment of the Griboyedov Canal, a minute walk to Nevsky Prospekt with its crowds, cafes and shops.
Some rooms boast superb canal & Kazan Cathedral views, steps (literally) from Kazan Cathedral, 100 meters from main city street and only 5 minutes walk from world famous Hermitage museum, also one can find a range of bars, cafes and restaurants just around the block. At the same time the hostel itself located in the quiet yard, protected from the city noise.
ROOMS: private 2-, 3-, 4- bed rooms with additional beds, and 6- and 8-bed female and male dormitory rooms, which include private lockers. Bed linen, blankets and towels are available and included FREE of charge.
FACILITIES: shared separate shower cabins and toilets, a little small, but very clean, are located on every floor. We have a free iron with ironing board, washing machine and hairdryer.
COMMON AREA: there are three living rooms where everyone can enjoy FREE drinks (tea or coffee) and tasty cookies, meet new friends, listen to a good music, watch movies on the big plasma TV, play different table games (we have a lot of different kinds) and a big fussball (a.k.a. table football or kicker) table.
SHARED KITCHEN: there is also a kitchen corner, where everyone can cook their favourite food. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a fridge and has all the necessary dishes.
OUR FREE SERVICES will surely help to save some money. We offer our guests wi-fi and Internet access on the guest computers, International calls, tea and coffee, city information, umbrellas for rent, luggage room, wake up call and much more.

Cleanliness is our priority, thats why we have an excellent maid service.
WE HAVE no curfew or lockout. There is also no age limit. We are happy to meet and greet everyone! When the weather allows, its possible to rent a bicycle directly from our own rent-a-bike center.

How to Get There
The Friends on Griboyedova Hotel is located in the very heart of the city, facing the Kazan Cathedral and just moments from both the famous 'Dom Knigi' Bookshop and the entrance to the Nevsky Prospekt metro station – one of the best known meeting points in the city centre for locals.
The hotel is actually in a large and bright courtyard off the canal. You enter through the first archway you reach when walking along the left bank of the Griboyedov Canal from Nevsky Prospekt. To the right of the archway there's a sign with the building's numbers (18-20) and above the archway itself you'll see an oval sign for the hotel. Entry into the courtyard is controlled by an entry code at night – simply enter the code 1947 and the gate will open, while during the daytime the gate is open. Once inside the courtyard, look for the hotel sign, on the side of building around the corner to the right.
