About This Hostel
Booked your flight to Malta and looking for a place to stay? You're probably after somewhere Cheap and Cheerful, Centrally located and Clean. Look no further…..Hostel Malti hits all four C's.
Hostel Malti was created by backpackers for backpackers with the help of some wonderfully eccentric interior designers who have put together a house with charm, heart and character.
The hostel is situated in the Ta Giorni area, St.Julian's, which means it's at walking distance from the clubbing district, (Paceville), yet far enough to escape its noise unscathed.
The hostel is also a few minutes away from the sea and a pleasant walk away from Sliema (shopping district), along its picture-perfect promenade.
Bus stations, supermarkets (2 mins away), restaurants and bars are all within walking distance.

Hostel Malti is a small affair with just three dorms- so you can really get to know other travellers and feel like you've lived with them all your life. The three bright and clean dormitory rooms- Sun, Sea & Sand- are all equipped with free lockers for your luggage, because we know the importance of peace of mind when you're out sightseeing or beaching the day away.
In the mornings you can prepare breakfast yourselves in the fully-equipped kitchen or leave it in our hands at a small additional cost.
Socialising
Hostel Malti is all for socialisation. In fact, the hostel's main charms are its common areas: the living room, dining room and spacious roof terrace, all perfectly designed to encourage effortless mingling among travellers.
Lounge about under the sun on the gorgeous roof terrace over a few beers and good old conversation, BBQ a meal together after a day spent at the beach, or simply sit back and enjoy a DVD…. or any other exciting activity you may wish to ignite.
And for the culture vultures, we're more than happy to help recommend and organise any excursion desired.

Cancellation Policy
You must give the accommodation at least 48 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the 1 night's room charge and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

How to Get There
Getting to Hostel Malti
No matter where you're coming from, Hostel Malti is a breeze to find, thanks to its central location, easily reached from anywhere.
Airport:
If you're coming from the Airport catch bus number 8 to Valletta (capital city) then catch the connecting bus number 42 to Ta Giorni- ask the driver to drop you off at the Ta Giorni Pharmacy.
Once there, it's a two minute walk to the Hostel: Once at the Pharmacy walk back twenty metres and take a sharp left and walk another twenty metres- you'll see number 41, Hostel Malti on your right.
Once you're in
Opposite the club, you'll see a bar called 'Muddy Waters'. Take the steps to the left of this bar and once you reach the top of the steps take a left and walk to the very top of the hill (about 150 metres). At the top of the hill take another left and walk for 50 metres and you'll be in front of Hostel Malti, number 41.
Sliema
If you're coming from Sliema, catch any bus towards St Julians. Stop in
Opposite the club, you'll see a bar called 'Muddy Waters'.
