About This Hostel
Hostel Trail.
Scottish run Hosteltrail opened it's doors in July 2007 to offer budget accommodation and up-to-date advice for travellers visiting Colombia as well as acting as the South American base for the HostelTrail project.
With several years of experience managing hostels both in Europe and in South America Tony Clark & Kim Macphee have kitted out this new hostel with everything a backpacker could want during their stay in Popayan.
The guesthouse has single, double, twin and dormitory accommodation.
A fully equiped self-catering kitchen is also available for guest use along with free Tea & Colombian coffee all day.
Please make sure you read and understand the Terms/Cancellation Policy.
Facilities:
A comfortable TV area is located on the ground floor with a large collection of movies.
Hot water showers are available 24 hours a day.
A laundry service is available for 8,000 Pesos per load.
International Telephone calls cost 300 Pesos per minute.

How to Get There
The guesthouse is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal and 7 minutes walk from the main square (Parque Caldas)
To reach the hostel by foot from the terminal, turn right out of the station and then left at the roundabout leading onto Carrera 11. Continue along here until you reach Calle 4.
