Welcome to Kamar-Kamar for Backpackers we are a backpacker hostel in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Kamar-Kamar, meaning "rooms" in English, offers exactly that: rooms, comfortable ones, for backpackers to stay. Kamar-Kamar provide varieties of single bed and room packages with a very low rate for individual backpackers, families and group travellers up to 44 people.

Facilities:
• We serve breakfast for Rp.25.000/person.
• Rather cook yourself? We have a shared pantry with fridge, dishes, stove and frying pan.
• Business centre with 1 desktop PC for rent. Only Rp.3.000/ hour.
• For laptop users, free WIFI available.
• TV at the lobby with international channels.
• Clean rooms + clean bathrooms with 24 hours air conditioner and hot shower.
• Bed light and power outlet provided for each bed.
• Lockers rent for Rp.25.000/ day.
• Towels rent for only Rp.5.000/ day.
•No smoking allowed inside the building. You can smoke outside or on the rooftop.
• We only accept cash in Rupiah

Kamar-Kamar for Backpackers conveniently located in the heart of South Jakarta, Indonesia, thus it is an easy access to major spots in Jakarta.

If you like shopping then you will enjoy going to the famous Pondok Indah Mall, Senayan City, Plaza Senayan, Pacific Place are only a short bus or taxi journey away.

There are a number of pubs and restaurants nearby featuring cuisine from across the globe which located in Cipete and Kemang. Bars worth visiting include Die Stube, Eastern Promise, Bremer, Beer Garden - all located in Kemang.

Jakarta also has a brilliant nightlife and there are a whole host of clubs and late night bars where you can go out and party such as DragonFly and BlowFish in Gatot Subroto, Domain in Senayan City, X2 in Plaza Senayan, Bibliotheque in Sudirman, Buddha Bar in Menteng, etc.

Cancellation Policy

You must give the accommodation at least 48 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the 1 night's room charge and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

Please check with the Management of the Hostel after you're booking has been confirmed, to confirm the most up to date Cancellation Policy.

Kamar Kamar for backpackers hostel a Cheap and Inexpensive Place to Stay in Jakarta Indonesia

From the airport: From Soekarno-Hatta you can get a taxi for approximately IDR 200.000. The journey will take between 40 and 50 minutes depending on traffic. Or if you come in a large number of people, we provide airport pick-up service for only IDR 250.000 up to 8 people.

Public Transportation: Take a DAMRI bus from terminal 2 to Blok M (it costs around IDR 25.000). The journey will take around 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Get down at Blok M, and you can either take a taxi to KAMAR-KAMAR. It will cost approximately IDR 25.000 and the journey is around 15-20 minutes. We recommend you to take Blue Bird or Express taxi for your safety. If you are lost, please contact us!
