About This Hostel
Matala Dimitris Villa Hotel has 20 A' class rooms, all of them with their own bathroom, balcony, Air-Condition, Heating, fridge, Satellite TV, swimming-pool for adults and pool for children, safe-box and phone.
In our tavern, near the pool and surrounded by flowers, you can enjoy your breakfast or a delicious traditional Cretan lunch. You might like to know that we also provide the meat for the snacks (local production).
There are two swimming pools with sweet water, one for adults and one for children, and a big terrace with sun chairs and umbrellas free of charge for our guests.
Matala beach is just 200m away, and the place is surrounded by trees and greenery, making it an ideal place for a relaxing vacation!

How to Get There
From airport: motorway to "Iraklion - Rethimnon - Chania"
After 10 km turn right to "Mires-Phaestos-Timbaki".
In a round you now underride the motorway, pass the traffic light and turn right to freeway 97 to "Mires-Timbaki".
Continue on this street for about 45 minutes.
This street is very very well completed at the beginning at gets more narrow the more you drive.
Pass mountains and valleys, the villages "Sivas", "Avgeniki", "Agia Varvara", "Agia Deka" and the little town "Mires".
From here you are 10 km away from the exit to "Phaistos", "Matala", "Pitsidia" at you left hand side.
Take this exit and follow the street over the hill, passing the cultural sight Phaistos.
Drive downhill throught "Agios Ioannis" and "Pitsidia" to "Matala".
Having passed the yellow town sign turn right. Drive downhill again for about 50m.
Our hotel is at your left hand side in green surroundings.
A small sign where you find with many hotel names leads and also another one with the name DIMITRIS VILLA drive you directly to us.
