About This Hostel
Monkey Box Hostel.
We have a large place considering it's location in town. There are 2 dorms and adjoining bathroom complete with the COOLEST shower heads you've ever seen! The lounge/common rooms area is MASSIVE and full of comfy couches and satellite TV. The open plan kitchen is fully loaded with oven, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery which is all available to guests during their stay. The open plan setup gives the hostel a bigger feel which is emphasised even more once the balcony doors are open.
Monkey Box hostel is all about having a good time while you're on holiday or backpacking! No silly old lady breathing down your neck or looking over her horn rimmed glasses judging your heathen ways of having a good time!We've seen it all - we've done it all. Relax so that you can do what you wanna do within reason.
The Monkey Box is a great little place, affordable (aka CHEAP!) and comfortable! We provide clean linen to all guests and the hostel is kept clean and tidy every day.

How to Get There
Arriving in Central Biarritz:
From the TRAIN station, take the Number 2 bus into Biarritz city centre. From the AIRPORT take the Number 6 bus.
Both fares should be about ˆ2 and will take approx 20 minutes.
Get off at the Tourist Information Centre - ask the drivers to alert you when you arrive but it should be the last stop in both cases.
We are two streets behind the Info Centre. The streets are small and narrow so best plan is to give me a call or let me know your ETA and I will meet you upon arrival.
