Located in the heart of Montevideo, Punto Berro offers a variety of opportunities for travellers who are just passing through Montevideo or for long term stays.
We are located in Pocitos, a buzzing neighbourhood where lively urban living meets relaxed beach atmosphere.
We are only two blocks from the beach and are surrounded by some of the best bars, restaurants, and clothing stores in the city. The super market, money exchange, ATM, and movie theater are all within a two block radius!
We are a short 15 minute public bus ride from the local bus terminal, 10 minutes from the international terminal, and 30 minutes from the international airport.

How to Get There
From Tres Cruces bus station:
At the bus stop outside of the main terminal entrance (on Bolavard Artigas) you can take #183 Pocitos. Get off at Pagola and Benito Blanco (ask the driver to let you know when you should get off). Walk two blocks up Pagola (away from the beach) and turn left on Berro. You will see the hostel half a block up on your left [US $50]
From the airport
Take the bus DM1 to Punta Carretas. Get off at 26 de Marzo and Pagola (the stop is on 26 de Marzo). Take a left on Pagola (walking against traffic) and walk one block to Berro. Turn right on Berro and the hostel will be half a block up on your left [US $1].
