About This Hostel
Renstiema Hostel and Hotel is situated in a very dynamic part of Stockholm with lots of people and traffic in the area. There are some 150 restaurants, pubs and discos in the local area of 1km. 5 bus lines stops just outside the hotel. It takes some 8-12 minutes to travel from the central station to the hotel with bus line 53.
We have 10 rooms, 1-6 bed rooms and a total of 33 beds. All rooms are equipped with cable-TV and bathrobes.
Choose between private or shared shower/WC. Rooms without private en-suite has a sink and share shower/WC with 1-2 other rooms. Free Internet via wireless connection, WLAN, and a guest computer.
In the breakfast room/lounge you can find free tea/coffee 24/7 as well as a TV, DVD, VHS and a PlayStation2-unit.

For your convenience all guests have access to a small guest kitchen with a micro, stove, oven, refrigerator and laundry facilities. Cold beverages, snacks and candy can be bought in the reception.
No curfew - all guests have private keys to the front door and the guest kitchen. No pets allowed. Non-smoking facility.
The reception is open 07.00 - 20.00 on weekdays and Saturday, and on Sunday between 08.00 - 18.00.
Late arrival is possible, but MUST be confirmed ahead by the hotel. Arrival after the reception is closed is charged with 50 SEK.
Upon arrival, please call the reception some 20-30 minutes before check, in so we have time to get personnel to the hotel to open for you.

Cancellation policy
You must give us 24 hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your stay and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

How to Get There
From Arlanda airport:
1) Train to central station takes 20 minutes and costs 220 SEK one way and 420 SEK for a return ticket.
2) Taxi to central station takes 40-60 minutes depandant on traffic, and costs 375-475 SEK.
3) Bus to central station takes 40-50 minutes dependant on traffic, and costs 95 SEK one way and 175 SEK for a return ticket.
From Skavsta airport:
Bus to central station takes approximately 80 minutes and costs 150 SEK one way and 249 SEK for a return ticket.
By car:
Locate the island of Soedermalm and drive along the northern shore on the street Soeder Maelarstrand and Stadsgaardsleden to the far east side of the island. Turn right when Stadsgaardsleden ends and on to Folkungatan. Drive 450 m on Folkungatan and turn right onto Renstiernas Gata. The hotel is situated in the crossing of Folkungatan and Renstiernas Gata.
By Subway alternative 1:
Go to the station "Medborgarplatsen" and then follow the street Folkungatan east 4 blocks to the crossing of Folkungatan and Renstiernas Gata. We are located
on number 15, just near the crossing.
By subway alternative 2:
Go to the station "Slussen", take any of the bus lines 2, 3, 53, 71, 76 or 96 to "Tjaerhovsplan", it is only 700 m from Slussen. The hotel is situated 50 m from
the bus stop.
By bus from central station:
Bus 53 to bus stop "Tjaerhovsplan" takes approximately 8-12 minutes. The hotel is situated 50 m from the bus stop.
Our normal opening hours is 7 - 20, so please let us know when You will be checking in.
