Ring Hostel Ischia.

The Ring Hostel is located in a large house in the historic centre of Forio that was originally a 16th Century Monastery used by Saint Francis Monks (Frati Francescani). The entrance and some of the older rooms feature the typical Ischian curved ceilings used in the architecture of the period.

Our hostel is a perfect getaway. In the heart of town only seven minutes walk to beautiful beaches and Forio port.

We offer private rooms for 1 to 6 people with shared or en-suite bathroom as well as dorm rooms for 4, 6, 8 or 12 people with shared bathrooms. We have a wide selection of rooms, so please choose what suits you best.

The house was bought by the Colella family some 100 years ago and is the home where Papa Salatore and his four brothers and sisters were raised. After marrying Tina, they then raised their three sons: Gisueppe, Amerigo and Lorenzo in the family home. Fifteen years ago, the family hosted a religious group and realised the need for a budget hostel. From this the Ring Hostel was created.

Cancelation Policy

You must give the accommodation at least 48 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your reservation and the remaining nights will be cancelled

By Plane From Naples Airport Capodichino, it is possible to reach the main port of Naples Molo Beverello by taxi (approx. 20 Euro) or by bus. Alibus is a shuttle service that connects the airport to the port (3 Euro). Tickets can be bought on the bus. By train Napoli Centrale (Garibaldi) is close to the Beverello (around 2km) and can be reached by taxi (approx. 10 Euro) or bus R2 or Tram #1 (1.20 Euro). Tickets can be bought at the train station. Take a ferry to Ischia from Beverello in Naples, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi or Capri. You can arrive at Ischia Porto or Forio Porto. It takes 1 hour on the hydrofoil (16 Euro) or 1 hour 25 minutes on the ferry (8 Euro). (Note: The ferry from Naples runs approximately every hour from 6.30am) If you arrive in Ischia Port, get off the Ferry, go to the bus station (approx. 100 metres) take the #1, #2, or CS bus to Forio. Get off at bus stop #55. (The Port of Forio is on your right). Look across the Street for the Captain Morgan Biglietteria (Ferry ticket office). Now, follow the instructions below, "Facing the Biglietteria." If you arrive in Forio Port, (with the port behind you) cross the road to where the Captain Morgan ferry ticket office is. To the left of the ticket office is Via Cesare Calise - follow this road up until you reach a small piazza with a couple of shops and restaurants (La Strambata being one of them). Continue up the road until you reach a 4way intersection (you should see a shoe shop on the corner), carry on straight up the road (Via Roma), you will pass a clothing shop on your right and further up, a florist on your left. Ahead you should see a multipurpose store and when you approach, to the left of the shop on the wall you will see a blue Ring Hostel sign - this is Via Gaetano Morgera - follow this road all the way up until you see the yellowish building with our signage on the wall....you have arrived!
