Shanti Hostel has been Designed with much love and care, Shanti is a hostel where the backpackers meet in small groups and share their experiences in one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Skopje.

Shanti Hostel is a family run Hostel and we are a couple who own and run this nice and warm hostel and we've been travelling a lot, so we know what a backpacker needs during their travels very well.

In every room for each bed we provided safety lockers, reading lights, fans and colourful curtains. There is a beautiful and pleasant garden where you can relax and enjoy your moments in Shanti Hostel.

In the living room, for the hot summer days, there is an air conditioner (A/C). Shanti Hostel is protected with a camera security system.

In the morning we serve a free traditional Macedonian breakfast and there is a free tea and coffee during your stay in the hostel. For our travellers, we provide many activities such as airport, bus and train station pickups, horse riding tours, walking tours, thermal bath visits and so much more.

Shanti Hostel is located near the bus/train station. The area is called Majir Maalo which is one the oldest neighbourhoods in Skopje. It's a secure and quiet place where you can still feel the spirit from old Skopje. Near Shanti Hostel there is a big super market, restaurant (with Shanti Hostel 5% discount) bars, clubs, theatre, swimming pool, shopping malls a change office and an ATM . Directions Coming from the Central Railway Station / International Bus Station - Walking 5 minutes: Take bul. Kuzman Josifovski Pitu (Êóçìàí £îñèôîâñêè Ïèòó) direction center, turn right on the first street before a big tall building (The National Bank) and walk 10m then turn right on street Veleska (Âåëåøêà), it is a street with cobbled pavement. Then after 10m turn left on str. Rade Jovcevski Korcagin and go only straight 20m and from your right side you will see Shanti Hostel. For guidance, you can print the map that we draw for you or just follow the signs. - By Taxi: Shanti Hostel is very near, so we suggest not to take a taxi. Better call us we, and we will come to pick you up. Important mark! NEVER accept taxi offers at the train/bus station. Coming from the Airport - By taxi: Before getting in a taxi always ask about the price. The normal taxi price from the airport is 25 eu. If you call us in advance, we can arrange an airport pick-up for 15 eu.
