About This Hostel
The Student's Hostel Estense is a three stars hostel. Now in a hightly valued building because of his old history, located in the Renaissance's area of Ferrara.
Few metres away from the most important monuments and museums in the city, like the Diamanti Palace, Estense Castle and Ferrara's Wall. The hostel is open to every traveller, especially young tourism. We welcome approximately 90 people in 19 rooms of three, four and six beds.
It is perfectly located so you can get to the main stations in a short walking distance. The hostel doesn't have any sort of architectonical barrier and it has rooms and toilets for disable.
During the winter we use a geothermic heating system which minimizes the environmental impact.

Our price includes:
- Breakfast: From 8:00 am to 10 am, we will prepare for you espresso, cappuccino, hot milk, jam, butter, plum cake, Kellogg's, juice... We serve it in the ground floor or in the garden during the summer.
- Sheets: Every bed has a pair of sheets and a blanket when it's cold outside.
- Internet point: At the ground floor you'll find two computers with internet access to use 24 hours.
- Reception non stop: The hostel is always open to check-in or coming in at any time.
- Cleaning up service: there's a daily cleaning up service for the shared areas and the toilets as for the rooms once you leave the hostel and for the customer's rooms that will stay for a long period.
- Central heating service: a geothermic heating system will warm us up!
- Luggage: the luggage can be left during the check in or after the check out.
- To prepare a snack: in the breakfast area you'll find a microwave and a fridge you can use to prepare something quick to eat.
- TV/SAT: at the first floor, in a cosy room, a tv and dvd are ready for you to enjoy with a program or even a film.
- Tourist office: at the reception they'll give all the information you need about the city and the region of Ferrara.
- Bike renting: you can rent your bike here at the hostel. Check the conditions with our staff at the reception.
- Towels renting: 3 towels of different sizes at the small price of 5 euro.
- Parking: just behind the hostel, a private parking where you can leave your car at very low rate.
- Tourist visits: talk to the guys at the reception if you are interested.
- Snack bar: from June to September you can enjoy with us the snack bar outside.
- Restaurant: very soon we'll have our restaurant ready for you.
- Washing and drying machine: very soon.

Cancellation Policy
You must give us 24 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your stay and any remaining nights will be cancelled.
Please check with the Management of the Hostel after you're booking has been confirmed, to confirm the most up to date Cancellation Policy.

How to Get There
The Student's Hostel Estense is very well located, in the heart of Ferrara and just some metres away from the train station. To join us:
From the station:Once you are outside of the station just take on the left handside Viale della Costituzione. After few minutes walking you will see, on your left handside again, Corso porta Po. Take this street and after some meters you will see it becomes Biagio Rossetti. We are in the number 24. (15min time)
From the bus station: From here you need to walk down Corso Isonzo and on the right handside you will find Viale Cavour. Take it and keep on walking on the right side of it till you will get to Via Ludovico Ariosto that will cross Corso Porta Po. This street will become Biagio Rossetti and we are in number 24. (20 min tim).
By car: Once you are in Ferrara (from the A13 north/south of Ferrara) go towards the central station and from here follow the indication to I Diamanti parking. When you will get to it can park the car and come out from the opposite side. Just in front of it you will see our hostel.
From the airport
Guglielmo Marconi Bologna Airport: from the airport you can take the aerobus that will leave you in the station in about 20 min (5 euro).
From here take the train to Venice whiach stops in Ferrara (40 min, 3 euro)- Marco Polo Venice Airport: There's a shuttle bus that will take you to the train station in Mestre, Venice. From here take the train that goes straight to Ferrara (1.30 h time).
