We're a small, cosy hostel with a helpful and personable staff. We will do whatever we can to make your stay in Krakow pleasant. We have a well-equipped kitchen, spacious common room, a good stereo and a wide collection of music (ranging from Incubus to Miles Davis).

Our Staff Will inform you objectively about tours to Salt Mine, Auschwitz (also other attractions)- unlike most hostels we do not accept any commission from any tour operators.

We're situated just between the two most vibrant and accessible parts of the city the Main Market Square and Kazimierz (the former Jewish quarter of the city.) The Main Square

is a 7 minute walk away, and to get to Kazimierz you only need to cross a street.

You must give us 24 hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your stay and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

Getting to Travellers Inn Hostel hostel:

From the Main Train and Bus Station in Krakow:

1. Take tram No.13 and get off at second stop called "Starowiślna". Cross the street to your right. Follow Dietla St. The first turn on the right is Józefa Sarego St. The hostel is here at No. 24.

* to get to the city from the bus station walk through adjacent train station to square in front of it.

2. If you're not weighed down by a gigantic backpack, why not walk here (max. 15 min. walk)? It is a nice stroll and will give you a good first look at the city.

3. Walk through the pedestrian subway towards Westerplatte St. Take the exit on your left hand side. Follow Westerplatte St. to the end and continue along Sw. Gertrudy St. Turn left (just behind the Deutche Bank) onto Józefa Sarego St. and walk on to No.24.

4. If the weather is nice, it might be a more pleasant to walk along Westerplatte and Sw. Gertrudy Street. The Path goes via Planty (the park stretching around the Main Square area). If walking this way, make sure you don't miss Sarego Street. You'll know you've reached it when you see the Deutche Bank which is just to the left of the turn onto Sarego.

From the airport Krakow Balice:

Train
Take train from the Airport and get off at the Main Railway Station. Follow the instructions given above
The train leaves every 30 min, costs 4 PLN. The whole journey takes 15 min. The train stop is about 200m form main terminal.

Bus
Take bus No. 192 and get off next to the lower platform of the Main Bus Station (Dworzec Główny Wschód). Follow the instructions given above
The journey takes 45 min., one way ticket (bilet normalny) costs 2,50 PLN plus you should have another 2,50 PLN ticket for your luggage, if it is big and heavy. A good option is 1 hour ticket  (bilet godzinny) for 3 PLN, it will be valid for you and your luggage as well.

Taxi
Taking a taxi to the hostel from the airport costs about 60 PLN.
