About This Hostel
Gana's Guesthouse.
Gana's Guesthouse, the really first hostel and guesthouse in Ulaanbaatar open in 1994 by Gankhuyag. Gana's Guesthouse will provide you accommodations in traditional Mongolian Ger house or a private room right in the downtown of Ulaanbaatar.
We are the most experienced guesthouse in Mongolia since 1994 and we have had a very positive feedback from all our guests. In our 17 years of service, we have had travelers from all over the world. Staying here will give you a wonderful opportunity to learn about Mongolian customs, have fun and meet travelers, families and backpackers from all over the world.
We are conveniently located between the center of town and the railway station. It's less than 15 minutes walk to the railroad station and a 10 minute walk to the State Department Store. We are also a 2 minute walk to the Gandan Buddhist Monastery.

There is a huge local shopping market a 1 minute walk where you can buy local foods such as cheese, meats and drinks. Local and international restaurants are also very close. Money exchange is a 2 minute walk away.
Gana, who has travelled around the world, is an expert in all information about Mongolia and Ulaanbaatar. He will give you unbiased and useful information in planning your holiday. He can also create for you a wonderful Mongolian adventure that you will cherish forever. How to Get There
Airport to Gana's Guesthouse
Taxi from Gehgis Khan International Airport to the hostel takes about 30 minutes and the fare is about US $15.
Train Station is about a 15 minute walk. Lets us know when you will arrive and we can arrange a free pickup. You can also take a taxi, cost is about US $1 to $2
